Abstract｜演講內容簡介
Mitsuhiro Ebara 教授於日本早稻田大學應用化學系取得學士（1995）、碩士（1999）與博士（2004）學位。2004 至 2006 年於美國華盛頓大學擔任博士後研究員，2007 年任大阪大學醫院助理教授，2009 年加入日本物質材料研究機構（National Institute for Materials Science, NIMS）。2019 年起擔任 Smart Polymers Group 研究團隊主持人，並於 2023 年升任高分子與生物材料研究中心副主任。2024 年創立 SPHinX Inc. 並擔任執行長，同時受聘為筑波大學與東京理科大學教授，並擔任多家企業顧問。

本演講將介紹以智慧型高分子為基礎的生物材料（smart polymer-based biomaterials）之發展概況，並分享相關領域的最新研究成果與未來發展方向。

Mitsuhiro Ebara received his B.S. (1995), M.S. (1999), and Ph.D. (2004) degrees from the Department of Applied Chemistry at Waseda University, Japan. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Washington from 2004 to 2006. In 2007, he became an assistant professor at Osaka University Hospital and joined the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) in 2009. Since 2019, he has served as the group leader of the Smart Polymers Group, and in 2023 he was promoted to Deputy Director of the Research Center for Macromolecules and Biomaterials. In 2024, he founded SPHinX Inc. and currently serves as its CEO. He is also appointed as a professor at the University of Tsukuba and Tokyo University of Science, and serves as an advisor for several companies.

In this lecture, he will present an overview of smart polymer-based biomaterials and share recent research progress and future perspectives in this field.
