Be Prepared For The Typhoon BAVI

Dear Faculties and Students,

As Typhoon BAVI is expected to affect Taiwan from the evening of Friday, July 10, through Saturday, July 11, faculties and students staying in campus dormitories or living alone off campus are advised to prepare enough food, drinking water, and any necessary personal medications for 1–2 days. Please also stay updated with the latest weather information and announcements issued by the Central Weather Administration and your local government. If your local government announces office and school closures, please avoid going outside unless absolutely necessary. Make sure all doors and windows are securely closed to ensure your safety.

To prepare for possible power or water outages, we recommend that you have the following items ready:
  1. A flashlight or other lighting equipment
  2. A fully charged mobile phone and power bank
  3. A sufficient supply of tap water for emergency use
