關於棄選的範例：

Ｑ小寶為大學部大三生於選課期間申請減修到9學分，異常處理結束後總修課學分數為16，請問小寶期中棄選是否可以棄選一門3學分的課程?

Ａ棄選後之總修課學分數不得低於學則修課規定下限：大一至大三不得少於 15 學分；大四不得少於 9 學分，延修生至少應修習一科目，且棄選科目至多2科。

小寶為大三生，依規定棄選後之總修課學分數不得少於15學分，因此小寶於期中棄選階段不能棄選３學分的課程，至多只能棄選１學分的課程。

 Example Related to Course Withdrawal

Q:
Xiao-Bao is a third-year undergraduate student. During the course selection period, he applied to reduce his course load to 9 credits. After Exceptional Circumstances, his total enrolled credits became 16. Can he withdraw from one 3-credit course during the midterm withdrawal period?

A:
According to university regulations, the total number of enrolled credits after withdrawal must not fall below the minimum required:

• First- to third-year students: at least 15 credits
• Fourth-year students: at least 9 credits
• Extended students: must enroll in at least one course
• A maximum of two courses may be withdrawn

Since Xiao-Bao is a third-year student, his total credits after withdrawal must remain at 15 credits or above.
Therefore, he cannot withdraw from a 3-credit course during the midterm withdrawal period, and may only withdraw from a 1-credit course at most.
